Tourist Attractions & Monuments Saint Malo

Facing the Rance dam, this marine cemetery is rich in discoveries. Sailors, artists and illustrious characters of the Malouin history rest facing the sea. You will discover the stele of Armand de Chateaubriand (cousin of the famous writer) or that of the painter and mosaicist Geoffroy d'Auvergne. We will also pay tribute to the Magon family, an illustrious Malouin family of shipowners and soldiers. The tombs are richly decorated with shells and marine symbols.

The association's mission is to occupy your free time by proposing the practice of intellectual or physical activity of your choice, which you can continue at your own pace. In the programme: foreign languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian), literary activities (classical, contemporary, Greek, Latin, ancient Greek, history, geography, philosophy), art and science (watercolour, archaeology, calligraphy…), and physical activities (theatrical workshop, dance dance…). This university is open to all, regardless of age or level of education.

Relaxation and fun are guaranteed with the gyropodes or scooters: they are an excellent way to discover the region. The ride between the city of Aleth and Solidor is magnificent, especially since Sylvain is a friendly guide who punctuates his visits with beautiful anecdotes: history, science, environment. This good moment to share with friends or family is a great experience thanks to the fact that it is easy for the non-initiated to get the hang of it. In addition to the essential tours (1h30 to 2h) in and around Saint-Malo, customized tours are possible.
