Maison Durand chocolatier has been making numbered chocolates with unchanging recipes kept in the greatest secrecy since 1987. Like its 19th-century Renaissance façade, the chocolate squares are true works of art. From the workshop, the scent of cocoa wafts across the room, transporting you to the land of sweets. At first glance, you'll salivate at the 41 little squares, such as White Chocolate, Fresh Basil, Lemon Zest (n° 28). The products are sourced responsibly, from local suppliers such as the Maraîchers du Rheu market gardeners. You'll also find confectionery and Hélène Jégado's famous 100% Breton cake.

Natural flavors from around the world and from Brittany: Les Chocolats Numérotés Durand
Craftsmanship in the heart... of town since 1987, with quality as our credo.
Throughout the year, we offer a range of handmade chocolates and confectionery made in our workshop adjacent to the boutique.
Maison Durand makes its numbered chocolates from top-quality beans with a distinctive taste, using fresh plants and infusions, no artificial flavours, no essential oils... What's more, it has forged partnerships with a large number of local producers for the quality of their products, and respect for the environment.
As for confectionery, the range has also been developed with a rigorous selection of raw materials. Come and discover our Hélène Jégado cake (quite a story!), our Kouign Amann with pure PDO butter, our spice and cocoa cookies ....

On paper, beer and chocolate don't seem like the most obvious pairing. And yet beer complements a good chocolate.
But the idea of Labo Compoz was to reuse the ganaches from our famous numbered chocolates and rebirth them in beers. Starting with the same raw (and local) ingredients as the chocolatier!
