A playful, artistic and educational park in Rennes, accessible to people with disabilities and offering beautiful walks
Beauregard Park plays with the sun, the future and the stars. Designed by David Boeno, this park alternates terraces, murettes and flowered mountains while being rectangular. It is created around the solar theme which allows you a very nice walk. This is the culmination of the House of the Park, which contains a solar-style clock: the visitor can read the hour from his own shadow. This house also welcomes the Astronomy Society of Rennes. The visitor is also invited to enter a monumental solar calendar formed by the alignment designed by Aurélie Nemours in the evocative name of Alignment of the Twenty-first Century: it is located near the FRAC Bretagne and extends over six hectares. The garden is opened on Rennes, punctuated by ancient beech hedges and planted with a green e-mail. This park is also fully open to disabled people. Beauregard Park is therefore a playful, artistic and educational park, which is a park of the future.
