This port is a little curiosity. Its originality is the technique of boat mooring. The vessels are moored to tree trunks planted in the sand and measuring from 8 to 10 metres. To attach boats, ropes and chains are used. This practice is common in the ports of Northern Europe but in France only the ports of Mazou and Gwin-Zegal (Plouha in the Côtes d'Armor) are still equipped.
