Organic Alsace wines: Claudine Rominger produces exceptional biodynamic vintages from the Saering and Zinnkoepflé Grands Crus.

This estate is relatively young compared to the Alsatian average! It adheres to the Vinabio charter and is certified Demeter since the 2012 harvest. The house produces the whole range of Alsace wines as well as Crémants d'Alsace and remarkable Vendanges Tardives and Sélection de Grains Nobles. A few cuvées: sylvaner "Z", riesling Grand Cru Saering, not to mention the famous Cuvée Ozmose from a complantation on the Grand Cru Zinnkoepflé.

We were recommended this winery by a wine bar in Colmar, so we decided to visit it. It was a truly great wine tasting experience - the owners son spent with us 1.5h and made us try 13 different wines (including a Riesling from 1995). He was extremely knowledgable about wine and its history, telling us a story about every single wine we tasted.
We ended up buying 5 different wines to take home with us.
Highly recommend this domain as it’s not touristic and the family is really passionate about what they do. 10/10 visit!!

Si vous passez par le Haut-Rhin, arrêtez vous à Westhalten chez Claudine Rominger qui a su me faire apprécier le petit verre de blanc et y revenir avec bonheur !! Ozmose est un véritable nectar et toute la gamme en biodynamie mérite le détour ! Accueil chaleureux garanti!

Claudine Rominger est une viticultrice exceptionnelle ! Sa passion pour la vigne se ressent dans chaque bouteille. Non seulement ses produits sont d'une qualité irréprochable, mais elle est également incroyablement généreuse et dévouée à son métier. Chaque visite chez elle est un vrai plaisir, où l'on découvre non seulement des vins fabuleux, mais aussi une personne authentique et chaleureuse. Je recommande vivement ses produits à tous les amateurs de bon vin !
