A relaxed, aperitif-style establishment serving bistro-inspired cuisine featuring seafood.

The astrolabe is a navigational instrument used since Antiquity. It's also the name of a polar exploration ship built in Concarneau. It was two inspired, globe-trotting brothers who opened this place. One is a computer scientist, the other has worked as a chef around the world. In a warm and carefully decorated environment, they concoct a bistronomic-inspired cuisine where seafood has pride of place. In the evening, L'Astrolabe offers a relaxed aperitif and tapas atmosphere, with occasional live music on Fridays.

L'un des rares restaurants ouverts en cet après-midi tempétueux de Novembre. Ce fût une bonne surprise: ingrédients locaux et de saison, accueil charmant et ambiance agréable. C'est le cuisinier lui-même qui est venu nous apporter nos plats à table tout en nous décrivant ce qu'on s'apprêtait à manger.
Le petit plus sympa et proprement breton: on vous apporte en continu des tranches de pains de seigle avec du beurre salé pour accompagner les plats.
