This leitmotiv sums up well the spirit of the first artisanal brewery in Brest, which was founded in July 2015 in the Saint-Pierre district, with the declared desire to give back to Brest its brewing know-how. Benoît, at the origin of the project, surrounded by Sébastien, Guillaume and Daniel, also wanted to offer a beer made from local and organic raw materials, part of a short virtuous circuit, to the delight of lovers of traditional beers from all the Biocoop in Brittany.

Their committed and festive project took the form of four recipes: the trapper's beer, Captain Baril, Original Barrel and White Barrel. And because they like to enhance the value of their territory, all their "drêches" (malt grain husks) are offered to the Traon Bihan farm, the last dairy farm in Brest, to feed the cows, whose milk is converted into farm yoghurt to supply the city's canteens, for the happiness of all the children in Brest. This is a committed company that is enjoying a growing and deserved success.

This microbrewery, in the heart of the Capucins district, leaves no one indifferent. A complete change of scenery is provided by a cellar offering some 100 references of local and foreign beers. But that's not all: the shop also offers a brewing workshop where you can create your own drink. You can choose from twenty-five different recipes. A moment of sharing and discovery guaranteed. The pleasure continues a month later when you return to collect your own bottles. Price: 170 euros for one or two people. Privatization possible for up to twenty people.

Located in the heart of Saint-Martin, l'Urbaine is an artisanal micro-brewery in Brest created by Julien Plégades. The establishment wants to be a place of creation and production of artisanal beers in an eco-responsible spirit. L'Urbaine offers organic beers made with passion! The Stoner, a blonde Pale Ale, for example, is distributed in bars, restaurants and wine shops. Here is a modest craft brewery that seems to be filled with beautiful human and ecological values: research, taste and pleasure!

Gérald, three-time world champion windsurfer, is passionate about the maritime world and beer brewing. It was therefore natural that he wanted to set up his brewery on the quays of Brest, at the marina. The first beer brewed, a light lager, is, as will be the following ones, artisanal and organic. As for the partners of the brewery, they are local and supportive. In short, a port beer, made to federate and transmit the taste of the open sea! The wager is successful: a real pleasure! This bulk and organic grocery store offers local products. Jacques is a former educator specializing in popular education. The store is magnificent, with fresh, seasonal vegetables. His cheese is delivered by a New Yorker who lives in Saint-Urbain and produces excellent cow's milk tomme and other gustatory delights... The owner also works with Le Sérail for Marseille soaps. You can do all your shopping with him. There's also a café/workshop area. A real place to live!
