Brest's new media library welcomes you to the former Capuchin workshops. It extends over 9,700 m ² and three levels. In this modern and industrial décor, you will find 120,000 documents in free access (books, BD, beautiful books, Dvds, CD), 900 seats, an auditorium, workrooms, computers, reading rooms and games spaces for small and large. Not to mention enthusiastic librarians! A living cultural space open to all.

CENTRE CULTUREL LECLERC

Institute Cultural center

The Leclerc cultural center in Kergaradec is one of Leclerc's largest. You'll find a wide range of books, as well as CDs, DVDs, video games and tickets for concerts, shows and soccer matches. A wide range of literary and musical genres is on offer. The Espace Culturel is integrated into the store. SKED

Cultural association

SKED is an essential association to learn from the Breton language and culture. Created in 1991, SKED has two main activities: the teaching of Breton (initiation, development) in Brest and its region, and the event by organising or associating itself with different cultural events and events. Thus, the association takes part in Skrivadeg (dictated in Breton, which takes place every March in March), the Musician Spring with Kevrenn, the Ridaleg Race and many other ad hoc events. But SKED also includes Breton and Irish dance courses, embroidery, history of Brittany culture and heritage, sports and traditional games, but also music and theatre.
