SKED is an essential association to learn from the Breton language and culture. Created in 1991, SKED has two main activities: the teaching of Breton (initiation, development) in Brest and its region, and the event by organising or associating itself with different cultural events and events. Thus, the association takes part in Skrivadeg (dictated in Breton, which takes place every March in March), the Musician Spring with Kevrenn, the Ridaleg Race and many other ad hoc events. But SKED also includes Breton and Irish dance courses, embroidery, history of Brittany culture and heritage, sports and traditional games, but also music and theatre.
