Inaugurated in 1959, the last hydroelectric power station built on the Grand Canal d'Alsace comprises 4 vertical turbines. A guided tour unveils the machine room, frescoes and sculptures, and explores the history of the development of the Rhine. It also presents the integration of hydroelectricity with navigation and EDF's efforts to protect biodiversity. A panoramic footbridge offers a glimpse of the power station and electricity generation.
