It was in the first half of the 1643 th century, between 1636 and, that the Claude Cross was built. The realization of the monument would be due to the will of Father Marc Glau. He was then Rector of Saint-Quay-Potrieux. According to the most vraissemblable dominant hypothesis, the name "Claude Cross", which now designates calvary, appears to be a corruption of "Cross Glau".
