The building, dedicated to Saint-Jacques, or Saint-Jacut, is located in the Clos Saint-Jean village, in the village of Petit-Hervé. The chapel was completely ruined in 1778. It was subsequently rebuilt in 1788. In the Revolution, in 1790, the religious building was sold as a national property to two citizens. The latter restituèrent the building free of charge in 1807. The chapel was restored in 1946.
