Whether you're interested or not in the art channel works, you will not miss to visit the Coat Natous site, an impressive place some steps away from the Notre-Dame-de-la-Pitié chapel. A real curiosity, restored in 1998, was erected on the Nantes to Brest canal from in this place, or on the site of an ancient ford, exists a considerable difference in the water way crossed thanks to a double lock; that is; two overlapping works with only three doors. This is the only one in this existing waterway; the central door is the lower door of the lock and the high door lock downs.
