Read moreThe island's profile is ideal for cycling, both for those who've never done it before - the climbs are never violent - and for children, as there are no cars, so their safety is assured. Carriages are handy for carrying luggage, and so equipped you'll be able to ride in any direction along the island's paths, towards the Peacock lighthouse, the strange Birlot tide mill and the Saint-Michel chapel overlooking it. The bikes are of course perfectly maintained, and helmets and locks are supplied with your mount.
