Classified as a historical monument since 1918, it dates back to the late fifteenth century or the beginning of the sixteenth century by the lords of the manor at Rue Louais, Nicol and Perceveaux. During the Terror, It was dismantled by the inhabitants for fear of its destruction by revolutionaries during the war. In 1863, the abbot Gicquel, rector of Saint-Quay, had it restored. Located at the intersection on a small hill, it was dismantled in 1986 and rebuilt at the corner of the crossroads in the commune of Etables. It represents Christ on the cross surrounded by the Virgin Mary and Saint John and at the base, the Notre-Dame de Pitié and Sainte Barbara statues. No less than twenty three very expressive characters are visible.
