What a bucolic setting! If you want to leave the beaten tracks and the contemporary setting and if you love yesteryear charm, this address was made for you, then. Relais Saint-Aubin is located in the deep countryside, but 3 km from Erquy beaches. For 26 years, Rauni and Gilbert Josset, a French-Finnish couple takes care of this former farm from the 17th century where wood, stone and flowers mix with tablecloths and carpets. The wooded and flowered terrace is a true haven of peace with its birds singing, its wisteria, its gladiolus, its exotic trees... Inside, rustic furniture set the tone. The large fire place with open hearth allows to grill food, one of the house specialities. On the à la carte menu, Erquy oyster; spices marinated sardine fillet; skate wing with brown butter, caper and steamed potatoes; braised beed cheek, snow pea; blanquette de veau and Basmati rice give you a little glimpse of the local, simple and classic cuisine served here. But, the whole would be more harmonious if the service was a bit warmer. The house is also a guesthouse.

Par contre l'accueil et la patronne sont a revoir. Elle pourrie ses serveurs devant nous sans scrupules , pas génial pour nous et pour eux. Le service en table demande a être revu, les serveurs qui passent les assiettes sous le nez , pas normal et sans s'excuser... Vu le tarif la prestation devrait être meilleur . Cordialement
