Restaurant down the street from Jerzual offering wood-fired pizzas.

Located on the port of Dinan, at the bottom of the rue du Jerzual which leads to the historical centre, the Lumachelle is the oldest pizzeria in Dinan. On the menu, which only displays fresh and home-made products, you can for example order a salmon gravlax, a entrecote (300/350g) served on a board with home-made chips, a cod parmentier and its mild aioli, a grandmother's flan or a chocolate cake and its custard... But the great speciality of the place is the 14 pizzas cooked on a wood fire.

C'est la première fois que je tourne les talons avant même d'atteindre la table. La dame qui nous a reçus était très désagréable, pas un sourire, à peine un bonjour, le resto est quasi vide (13h) et pourtant on a clairement l'impression de les déranger. On demande poliment si par hasard ils auraient une chaise haute pour notre fille et la dame nous répond sèchement en levant les yeux au ciel et en soufflant "bah oui". Vu l'ambiance pesante qui s'annonçait nous avons préféré écourter l'expérience et au vu des commentaires que j'ai pu lire sur Google, nous avons bien fait !

Dinan port is picturesque, and this restaurant is litterally on the main stretch. and then to be faced with waiting/front of house staff/Maitredee lacking passion, charisma. Very impersonal and abrupt , worst of all and evidently a displeasure towards nonfrench tourists.

Le port de Dinan est pittoresque et ce restaurant se trouve littéralement sur la rue principale. et puis se retrouver face à des serveurs/réception/Maitredee manquant de passion, de charisme. Très impersonnel et abrupt, le pire de tout et évidemment un mécontentement envers les touristes non français.
