In the heart of Brittany on the shores of Lake Guerlédan is the shop shop of Sue MacGillivray, artist and glass designer. English unveils his Creations: jewellery, crockery, frames… Every Tuesday in the summer, she also releases courses to learn how to cut the glass, decorate it, assemble it, cook it and marvel at its creation. The atmosphere is warm and the time of tea never forgotten!

Séjour d'une nuit dans le cadre de la randonnée du tour du lac de Guerledan (la verrerie est à 2,5 km de beau rivage).
Des hôtes très charmants, très attentionnés.
Le dîner et le petit déjeuner étaient excellents et bien copieux.
Chambre spacieuse, calme, et avec toutes les commodités (WC, salle de bain).
N'hésitez plus, allez y les yeux fermés.

The overwhelmingly positive reviews for La Verrerie de Guerledan are fully justified. It comprises just two ensuite rooms, plus a small room containing two twin beds. Ours had a lock-down installed modern walk-in shower; the other a more traditional bathroom. All the fittings were of high quality and everything was immaculately clean. There's also a small shared living room upstairs with a TV, brochures and hot drink making facilities.||The excellent hosts Ian and Sue are available to provide assistance as necessary and readily engage with guests. It was interesting to see Sue's glassmaking workshop next door - she has made some really lovely items which are available for purchase.||On the first two nights of our stay we opted to eat at the property, in both cases dining with another couple. Ian prepared some really tasty dishes we much enjoyed - definitely a notch above honest home cooking! They were also generous in serving aperitives and ensuring we had more than enough decent quality wine to drink. Breakfasts featured high quality croissants and pain au chocolat. ||In summary, we were very pleased to have chosen this accommodation.
