Managed by Catherine Faller and her sons, Eddy and Théo, Domaine Weinbach, certified Ecocert and Demeter, shines in the firmament of great names (5 stars from Parker and Bettane & Desseauve). Its signature cuvées - Sainte-Catherine, Laurence, Colette, Théo - cross exceptional terroirs: Clos des Capucins, Altenbourg, and prestigious Grands Crus. Vendanges Tardives, Grains Nobles... excellence comes at a price, but every drop deserves it.

日本から予約していきました。
トラブルで予約時間より1時間遅れて行きましたが、上品なマダムが出迎えてくださいました。
客層は高級車で訪れるセレブリティが多い印象で
日本の庶民の私たちはちょっと緊張する雰囲気でした。
ワインは高級、試飲もそれなりのお値段だけに
訪問者はそれぞれ別のクラシカルな個室に通され、
説明者が巡回するスタイルでした。
説明は控えめな感じです。
そのため、時間はかかりますので、時間に余裕をもって訪問したいワイナリーです。

Un Très Grand Domaine de Renom qui traverse les siècles à la perfection.
Le petit ruisseau weinbach circule tout près des vignes magnifiquement entretenues en biodynamie.
A chaque cuvée, une expression originelle , sincère, persistante, touchante.
Acceuil Chaleureux de toute la Famille Faller.
Catherine et Eddy ont un esprit Noble.
Des humains Affables, enjoués, altruistes. On a presque l'envie de rester oui.
Au retour , j'aperçois une Cigogne.

Havde ikke lavet aftal ønske bare at købe en vin vi havde smagt til middagen dagen før.
Følge os ikke velkomme , inden vi kom ind skulle vi svare på om vi ønske det ene eller andet.
Skulle smage på en vin , og fik ikke lov fik to dyre vine st smage på. Egne kom selv og vente øjne af os da vi ikke have bestil tid.

There is no denying the wines are extremely good but you would be better off enjoying a few glasses over dinner somewhere and learning about the estate with a quick Google search than listening to their lacklustre explanations.
The offer of buying €100 of wine with which the domaine waves the tasting fee is tragic. It does not come from a place of passion for sharing wine and celebrating this region with those who have taken the time to see it in person.
