Square Jean-Cousin, created in 1880, is Sens's only typically 19th-century garden. Strollers will encounter 15,000 plants, from variegated tobacco to begonias, daturas, heliotropes, sage and more. There's also a statue by Sençon artist Jean Cousin. A little trivia: many of the trees, such as the "arbre aux quarante écus", the purple beech and the weeping sophora, date back to the park's creation...
