The 18-metre-high Thieves' Tower was a prison and seat of justice where life was unpleasant

Built in 1335, the 18-meter-high Tour des Voleurs is aptly named, as it was a prison in the 14th century, and the seat of justice until the 18th century. Torture chamber, trapdoor, dungeon, interrogation room with torture instruments... This was not a good place to live, and thieves didn't come out unscathed... if at all! The Thieves' Tower adjoins a winegrower's house dating back to the 16th century. Furniture, kitchen utensils and wine-making tools are on display. Allow around 45 minutes for your visit.

Very old and historical building. One room pertaining to the tourture method and another showing some devices. Then there are some rooms regarding the history of the building and area. Not very much to see but interesting. The town is very old and beautiful.
