Born into a family of winegrowers 150 years ago, Daniel Dampt created his Domaine alongside that of his father-in-law Jean Defaix. Today, his two sons, Vincent & Sébastien, take up the torch and help visitors discover their wines. The Domaine currently has 26 hectares of vines in production, with 15 hectares of Chablis and Petit Chablis, and 11 hectares of Chablis1er Cru. The brothers vinify and sell only their own wines.

Domaine Daniel Dampt & Fils is a family estate located in Chablis. It is characterized by its autonomy in technical equipment and its assertive choices of wine making. This estate offers you a range of high quality white wines: Chablis Grand Cru, Chablis Premier Cru, Chablis and Petit Chablis. To help you in your choice, you can taste their wines on site. Please note that during the tasting of its Chablis, this domain obtained distinctions justifying its choices of culture in reasoned fight and the internal wine making of the fruit of its passionate work. A great address for oenophiles!

We arrived without an appointment and were warmly welcomed by Sébastien, part of the family that has run this over 40-hectare estate for four generations.
The tasting was delicious, showcasing elegant and expressive wines in line with the Chablis terroir. Afterwards, we got a quick tour of the production process and left with a great selection to enjoy at home. A memorable and highly recommended visit!
