The famous Biscuiterie de Bourgogne (with stores in Joux-la-Ville, Vézelay and Auxerre) has also set up shop in the heart of Avallon's historic center, where you'll find its famous financiers, meringues and macaroons, as well as sweets from the Chopard in-house chocolate factory and local products from its Tour des Terroirs brand. Terrines and pâtés, ready-made meals and gingerbread sit side by side with jams and mustards, not to mention an excellent selection of wines. An epicurean's paradise!
