In summer, the castle of Brandon opens its doors to visitors. A visit of 50 minutes during which the guide- lecturers explain the history of the castle from its origins to the present day and the main features of its architecture. The visit begins with the exterior of the castle and continues in the former stable transformed into heraldic showroom where shields which enabled to recognise the knights of the Middle Ages are displayed, before finishing with the discovery of the interior of the castle. Children are not forgotten during this visit of the castle of Brandon since they can dress up as a knight and play cards or figurines. The castle of Brandon will also delight lovers of legends. Some say that a treasure is hidden there and that a white Lady would haunt the place.
