Michel Froehlich is the heir to a wine-growing tradition that dates back to the 1900's. He passionately runs his family estate of 12 ha which benefits from a wide range of terroirs due to its distribution over 4 communes. He manages his vines using environmentally friendly viticulture and produces fine quality wines with an undeniable character. He vinifies the 7 Alsatian grape varieties in 6 ranges: Tradition, Special Cuvées, Grands Crus, Late Harvest, Crémants d'Alsace. During your visit, you will be able to discover a Muscat Elégance (fresh and fruity), a Pinot Noir Rouge de Rouge (nose of red fruits and cherries, tannin with a woody side) or a superb Gewurztraminer Vendanges Tardives (notes of candied fruits and pineapple, very good ageing potential). But Michel Froehlich is not only a skilled winegrower: he is also a seasoned beekeeper who markets a fine collection of Alsace honeys from his Apiary in the Kastenwald!

Logement très bien situé, spacieux, propre, très fonctionnel.

Picie wina od samego rana ma swoje zalety. Najlepsze z późno zbieranych gron przesyconych słońcem, słodkich i idealnych na głębokie złote wino.
Zbiory na tym terenie miały być dopiero za tydzień! A to ponad 30 hektarów winnic na różnych zboczach, o różnym nasłonecznieniu i różnej glebie, i przez to różne wina się z nich otrzymuje.
Nie wiedziałam, że we francuskiej Alzacji produkuje się wina musujące, a kir można zrobić z sokiem z czarnej porzeczki (czyli klasyczny cassis), ale też z morelą, truskawką, czy ananasem.
Nadal trudno spróbować odrobinę wina i nie przełknąć, skoro to takie dobre. Dziękujemy za przemiłą i merytoryczną rozmowę, i za świetne wino! Jeszcze tu wrócimy ????
