An ecomuseum made up of a network of sites presenting the Bresse region, its natural environment, history and architecture.

The Écomusée de la Bresse bourguignonne is a network of 11 sites (some open exceptionally) presenting the Bresse region in its historical, social and cultural context. Its headquarters are at the superb ^17th-century château de Pierre-de-Bresse. The ecomuseum presents the natural environment, history, skills, traditional lifestyles and architecture of the Bresse region. Workshops, lectures and concerts take place here.

Opening time and information on ÉCOMUSÉE DE LA BRESSE BOURGUIGNONNE

Quality Tourism. Closed from November 11 to March 29. From March 29 to June 30 and from September 1 to November 10, open every afternoon from 2pm to 6pm. In July and August, open daily 10:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-6:30pm. From September 1st to November 10th. Free admission for children under 12. Adults: €8.50 (audioguide: €2; concessions: €6). Children (aged 12 to 18): €4. Ask for details. Workshops and concerts by prior arrangement. Vacation vouchers available. Audioguide adapted for the visually and hearing impaired. Guided tours. Animations.

Nous avons visité l'écomusée l'été dernier et avons trouvé cette visite très intéressante pour qui s'intéresse à l'histoire de la région. Le cadre, le chateau de Pierre de Bresse, est tout simplement magnifique!
