ST COLUMBA FALLS
One of Tasmania's highest waterfalls, Pyengana is accessible via a level 2 hike.
One of Tasmania's highest multi-level waterfalls (90 m), it's a 15-minute walk from the parking lot through a forest of tree ferns. This mini hike in the shade of the trees will take you to a viewpoint at the base of the spectacular waterfalls. This hike is classified as level 2, with a moderate gradient to return from the falls. A good level of fitness is therefore recommended. The path has been under repair and closed since the end of 2024, but the waterfalls can be admired from the parking lot! See the website for up-to-date information.
