PATAN PATOLA HERITAGE MUSEUM

The city is famous for its patola weaving industry, a very particular technique originating from Patan and dating from the ^11th century. The silk threads are dyed before being woven, following a predefined pattern. This museum-boutique of the Salvi family, which transmits this traditional art from generation to generation, allows to admire superb pieces, to visit the workshops and to observe the know-how of the weavers.
