Kočićevo Ognjište
Small cultural and tourist complex consisting of six wooden buildings around the birthplace of writer Petar Kočić.
This small cultural and tourist complex (Kočićevo Ognjište/Кочићево Огњиште) lies 2 km southwest of the village "center" of Stričići. It houses the wooden birthplace of Bosnian Serb writer Petar Kočić (1877-1916). Renovated in 1966, since 2012 it has been surrounded by a bronze statue of Kočić and five wooden buildings that evoke the housing of the region's Serbian peasants at the beginning of the 20th century. The site is freely accessible. However, the houses are generally only open to visitors during the Kočićev Zbor festival at the end of August.
