VILLAGE DE ĆUKOVI
This village is entrance no. 2 to the Una National Park. Path to Štrbački Buk, some shops and accommodation.
Ćukovi/Ћукови (pronounced "chukovi") is one of the five official entrances to the national park. Located along the local road R408 (27 km southeast of Bihać, 9 km south of Gorjevac), the village has around 200 inhabitants, almost all Bosnian. Here you'll find a modern mosque, a few shops and accommodation and, most importantly, the start of a 5 km trail to the Štrbački Buk waterfalls. This is reserved for hikers and cyclists. It passes through the Bukovac spring. The R408 continues south towards Orašac, Kulen Vakuf and Martin Brod.
