A center for study and meditation, the Paldenshangpa Buddhist temple is the first Himalayan temple in Europe, built over 50 years ago, in 1974. Modelled on the first temple built in Tibet, it was created by a French couple. It welcomes tourists attracted by the beauty and singularity of the site, as well as believers devoted to the study of Buddhist teachings and meditation. Various courses and meetings are organized throughout the year.
