HOTEL SOFO
In Llogara National Park. An institution. Pleasant rooms and good traditional cuisine such as lamb on the spit.
This wooden chalet nestled in the Llogara National Park, along the SH8 road, is an institution. A former communist restaurant, it was bought in 1990 by the region's most famous chef, Sofo Kuteli (1947-2024). He and his family have turned it into a modern address with pleasant rooms (air-conditioning, wifi...) and a cuisine that's always top-notch: spit-roasted lamb (qingji ne hell), spit-roasted stuffed lamb offal (kukurrec) and "Caesar's bread" (ngsar), in memory of the Roman emperor launched here in pursuit of Pompey.
