Nicknamed the "City of Roses", this municipality has a population of almost 100,000. Home to California State University, Chico - often simplified to "Chico State" - is a dynamic student town. Above all, it's the cultural and economic nerve center of the northern Sacramento Valley, and a great place from which to explore the region.
