A finalist in the Concours des meilleurs cavistes de France 2022, Maxime Paon is based in the heart of Munster's old town.
As a finalist in the Best Cellarman of France 2022 competition, Maxime masters his subject well when he advises his customers on wine, beer or whisky. At Hopla Vins, he offers more than 300 references in spirits and 400 in wines, including many organic and biodynamic wines. Maxime also organizes tasting evenings (available upon reservation) around various themes, always accompanied by cold cuts and cheeses... You can even privatize the place for private tasting evenings. We love it!

Open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 6:45pm; Saturday from 10am to 6:30pm. Open on Sunday in December. Online shop. Free delivery in the Valley of Munster and Colmar. Gift vouchers.
Owner's Message
Coming from the world of sommellerie, Maxime Paon offers a range of 250 to 300 references of wines from all regions of France, including about twenty foreign wines.
A wide choice of small producers who work their vineyards in organic, biodynamic and natural agriculture in order to be more respectful of the land and the environment.
Maxime offers wines accessible to all with a nice range around 8 and 15 euros but also more prestigious wines.
Since the opening of Hopla Vins, Maxime has developed a passion for the world of spirits and now has more than 300 references of Whiskies, Rums, Gins and Alsatian brandies.

New Champagne
Maison Henriot is now part of Hopla Vins. Founded in 1808, its domain spreads over about 35 hectares in the Marne valley, the Reims mountain and the Côte des blancs. Come and discover two beautiful vintages:
The Brut Souverain is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier with a dosage of less than 8g/l.A very nice champagne with notes of citrus and white flowers.
The Blanc de Blancs, a blend of Chardonnay, aged between 4 and 5 years with a dosage of less than 8g/l. Beautiful complexity with notes of flambéed pineapple, citrus and pastry aromas. Hopla !
Domaine Lafage : nice autumn novelty
Domain of 12 hectares directed by Kevin Barbet, located in Montpezat between Cahors and Montaubant on the appellation Coteaux du Quercy. The vines are cultivated biodynamically. 2 vintages to discover at the store:
- Coteaux du Quercy, La Suite on a blend of Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Merlot 2018. A wine with cherry aromas with a mouth of black fruits in compote and a nice finish on the freshness .
- Vin de France, Full blend of Gamay and Cot (Malbec) 2021.A beautiful garnet color, a nice nose on the redcurrant and a mouth full of pleasure. Hopla !
