THE ZUHL MUSEUM

Part art gallery, part natural history museum, the Zuhl Museum at New Mexico State University houses a collection of over 1,800 magnificent petrified wood, fossil and mineral specimens. So it's a great place for the geologists among you, but not only that. You can also discover more treasures at the Zuhl Library. Among the fossils are invertebrates and vertebrates, including trilobites, ammonites, insects, fish, mammals, reptiles and dinosaurs.
