BALLET DE L’OPÉRA NATIONAL DU RHIN

Created in 1972, in Mulhouse two years later, this famous ballet, inspired by the National Opera Opera, offers throughout the year rich classical or contemporary programming, baroque or modern. Artistic creation is at the heart of the company's project, which has 33 permanent artists, and that gives it its identity and originality. To this end, renowned contemporary choreographers come to the residence to create with the dancers of the original shows, off the beaten tracks. But the programming also offers the opportunity to rediscover regularly some great flagship works of the th century. If the company, under the direction, since 2013, of Ivan Cavallari rotates around the world, it also presents its performances in Mulhouse, La Filature and the Théâtre de la Garten. Many actions are also organised locally to sensitize the Alsatian public to the ballet and give him the desire to find the way of the show rooms.
