In August 1992, the first evening took place in this industrial wasteland converted into a modern music scene. These labels attributed by the Ministry of Culture as well as the associative history which carried this project contributed to make the "Nouma" a high place of the music in Alsace and in France. The welcome, the flawless technical organization and the after parties with the artists have made this concert hall an unavoidable stopover for thousands of groups. A national stage, with a sharp and polished programming in the field of live performances, it honours art by combining shows by recognized artists with proposals by young talents with residencies of noted artists, artistic works that echo the city. La Filature also houses La Galerie, for photo exhibitions, the Mulhouse Symphony Orchestra and the Rhine National Opera. There is also a media library managed by the City of Mulhouse, specialising in music, theatre, dance and video.

This place is THE emblematic place of Mulhouse industrial history. Installed in DMC's building 75, Motoco welcomes 140 artists and 7 open spaces. Carpenter, visual artist, photographer, entrepreneur, such are the inhabitants of this extraordinary place. Formerly an industrial wasteland which is being reborn from its fallow land, it is regularly featured in the press. Institutional or professional evenings worthy of large metropolises are organised there: what could be more trendy than an event in such an unusual place?

Recently installed in a former shopping mall in the center of Mulhouse, the new conservatory has breathed new life into these sleepy neighborhoods. The elegantly refurbished building has all the facilities needed to pass on the love of music. With a 300-seat auditorium and 7,000 m² of classrooms for over 100 disciplines, the new conservatory is ready to welcome budding musicians and others.

For several years now, the theater of the Rue du Ballon has not abandoned its grip on the small world of amateur theater, although in this particular case we can speak of professionalism. The troupe of faithful believers around the master to think Jean-Marie Meshaka is piling up every season of new talents in part from the training provided by competent passionate people. It revisits the classic repertoire as well as contemporary pieces. Beyond the show, the Franco-Lebanese director always seeks to convey a message, an emotion so that the viewer is not just a "consumer". Smart theater in sum!

This 300-seat room dedicated to humour in all its forms was created by two passionate lovers of living art and scratch-hair, the couple Marguier. Because they lacked a place to express in an amusing way their local and national favourites, the Warehouse had to fill this void. The programming is of high quality, and many national artists come here to test their new shows. The most? The possibility of having dinner or a drink before or after the show.

The Palace shows films in their original version. The selection is rigorous and alternates between some blockbusters and art house films. The combination is relevant and effective. The current director has managed to take over the reins of this unique downtown cinema and to get back on track in terms of admissions. The year 2022 was rather good despite a very delicate national economic situation. He regularly organizes unique screenings of legendary films as well as exhibitions of local artists. Mulhousians seem to really appreciate it!

The Kinepolis is a complex with 14 theaters in Mulhouse that offers a generalist and family program to which are added live and simultaneous broadcasts of concerts, ballets, operas, previews and documentaries. An award-winning Belgian concept, Eddy Duquenne, President of Kinepolis Group, received the award for best cinema operator at CinemaCon, the largest event for the film industry in the world in 2014. Since then, the concept has been working well and moviegoers have been flocking to it.

The Mulhouse Alsatian Theatre is committed to the preservation and development of dialectal theatre and popular culture in Mulhouse, through the regular production of plays in dialect, often written by regional authors. Every year, the TAM presents its famous "Herre'n Owe" and "Dame'n Owe". Its HQ is located next to the Théâtre de la Sinne. The Circle has a bar and two halls and is home to the rehearsals of the youth dialectal theatre school.

With its intimate setting, the cinema offers a rich and varied program for everyone. Le Bel-Air is not a cinema where you just go to "consume" a film. A place for sharing and exchange, the year at Bel-Air is packed with events, including meetings around program cycles, and the Augenblick Festival, a regional German-language film festival. Young audiences are also catered for, with image education programs such as École & Cinéma, and the "Kinderclasse": films in German for bilingual classes.
