Events calendar Mulhouse

Since 2013, rue de la Moselle, thanks to die-hard street art enthusiasts such as Lynda Freyman, who organises a number of events around art with local artists or artists from elsewhere, the great wall at 9, rue de la Moselle has been used as an ephemeral painting to the delight of passers-by and street art enthusiasts. Each month, an artist is invited to express himself through a personal and large-scale work that remains on display for a month, in full view of everyone, directly in the street, giving it a different and ephemeral touch each time and adding to the renewed dynamism of this part of the city centre. In front of the WALL, you can't remain indifferent!

Mulhouse has more than one trump card up its sleeve, and water is one of them! With its rivers and canals.... The city is making water visible and accessible again. This summer, the Canal du Rhône au Rhin will be the place to be on vacation! Between Michèle's guinguette and the magnificent Square du Général de Gaulle, you'll have your feet in the water! Not forgetting, of course, the brand-new Parc des Terrasses on the banks of the Ill, close to the market. Entertainment all summer long!

Festivitas, the South Alsace tourism trade show, has been present in Mulhouse for over 10 years, bringing together gastronomy, wine and travel at the Parc expo. For 3 days, epicureans and fans of excursions come to find new addresses and ideas for original, gourmet trips. Local producers, winemakers, craftsmen and restaurateurs are on hand, proving that Southern Alsace is well worth the detour and has great potential. The DNA of Festivitas is the promotion of the Espace Rhénan, the true wealth of our region.

In recent years, running has become one of Mulhouse residents' favorite sporting activities. Four not-to-be-missed events take place one after the other: on March 24, the Mulhouse half-marathon, a 21 km run through the city's streets, taking in some of its most emblematic sites; in June, the RUN 5 in the Parc des Collines, a 5 km friendly, non-timed race; on September 14 and 15, the Les Mulhousiennes race in aid of the fight against cancer; in October, the Grand Mulhouse Trail urbain, a 13 km race taking in sidewalks, paths, staircases, footbridges and bridges.

In 2010, the Journées de l'architecture association became the Maison européenne de l'architecture-Rhin Supérieur Europaïsches Architekturhaus-Oberrhein. Conferences, tours, exhibitions, concerts, cinema: the Journées de l'architecture are held jointly throughout the Upper Rhine. This event is perfectly suited to Mulhouse, with its great diversity of architecture, particularly Mittel-Europa! Conferences and short films are also on the program.
