Each one has its own unique sound... Sonnet production has been the main activity in the village of Alcáçovas since the 18th century, and in some families the meticulously guarded secret of making them has been passed down from generation to generation. Although their numbers have diminished considerably, some workshops still look as they did 200 years ago. A journey back in time..
