Every year for more than two months, a Louisiana air blows over Universal Studio Park with the celebration of Mardi Gras, a holiday that traditionally takes place 47 days before Easter. The festivities echo the New Orleans Carnival (also known as Mardi Gras). French settlers brought this pagan festival to Louisiana in the late 17th century.
