This small rural community located 57 km from Essaouira is in the middle of Berber Haha country, in the middle of argan fields. Faced with the lack of rainfall, the region is experiencing a particularly painful water stress and it is not uncommon to see the inhabitants travelling on donkeys in search of drinking water. This is where Tamoune comes in, a very active association, engaged in many missions, ranging from water supply for the populations of its 9 douars who exploit only wells dug thanks to their initiative, to the rehabilitation of abandoned schools, all with an eco-friendy approach.
