7 generations of winegrowers: an estate steeped in history and the court of the Knights of Malta. Grands crus, late harvest.

For 7 generations, Michel and Charles Blanck have been writing Alsace in vine letters. Over 15 hectares, including a large part of the prestigious Grands Crus Schlossberg and Furstentum, they have created cuvées acclaimed by oenologists. Don't miss the Pinot Gris Cuvée Margaux 2023, the sumptuous Gewurztraminer Grains Nobles 2022 or Gewurztraminer Furstentum Malte 2020. Tasting in a 16th-century cellar, a stone's throw from the Musée du Vignoble... and the majestic Cour des Chevaliers de Malte.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés par hasard chez ce producteur.
Nous avons été très bien accueilli.
Visite de la cave, historique du vignoble, présentation des différentes terres des vignes et des différents raisins.
Une excellente dégustation.
Nous avons passé un agréable moment et nous avons rapporté des bouteilles pour déguster en famille

On ne va pas se mentir : nous nous sommes retrouvés au domaine André Blanck suite à une erreur en rentrant le nom dans le GPS (on cherchait un autre Blanck recommandé par notre guide). Et bien le hasard fait très bien les choses...
Nous avons été très bien accueilli, visite de la cave, de toutes les étapes de vinification. Excellente dégustation avec bonnes explications. Nous ne savions que choisir tellement tout était bon. Un grand merci. Nous gardons l'adresse...

A distinguished winemaker with a very intimate and quaint tasting room. We were hosted by Christoph and Paul, who were both incredibly personable and passionate about their wines, down to the sampling with pairings and sharing about their life experiences. This is a winemaker to visit, not just for the quality of their wine, but also to experience the history and people behind the wine. Strongly recommend a visit.
