A 10 minute drive from Cripple Creek, Victor is another very charming mining town. Its small city center, registered at the National Historic District, is made up of time buildings and is visited by strolling or following the Historic Walking Tour, which will make you discover 8 original buildings.Its surroundings are not without interest. You can also reach the Skaguay Reservoir Lake or the huge Arequa Gulch Bridge Bridge. Two scenic roads allow you to browse the hinterland.The Gold Belt National Scenic Byway is a scenic route between Cripple Creek and Victor.The Gold Camp Road follows the old railway (known as Short Line) linking Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek.
