It is difficult not to fall under the charm of this lovely mountain town, a small cocoon that is both nonchalant and animated around the Elk Avenue shopping, inscribed in the historic national register. A concentrated restaurant and small boutiques, colorful historic buildings, small alleys where a peaceful stream flows. It is surrounded by summits more at least close. In the fall, the city is stained with beautiful golden reflections and in winter the thick white snow coat gives it the air of Far North.
