This small village, still ghostly a few years ago, has become the trendy bucolic getaway for wealthy Argentines and Uruguayans, as the famous Argentine chef Francis Mallmann, master of fire and meat cooking, has opened his gourmet table in an old grocery store. What remains is the brick building, the white walls and a rustic-chic interior that embodies the spirit of the restaurant, in the middle of a village of 200 inhabitants, its chapel and its palm trees. Moreover, the village has also become a center for the production of high quality wine, with several vineyards and wineries nearby.
