Travel Guide Sheridan

At the border of Montana, almost halfway between Yellowstone Park and the Blacks Hills, Sheridan is a charming city. It is its ideal location at the doorstep of the beautiful Bighorn National Forest and its historic dowtown that attracts visitors looking for Western experience. The city, organized around the long S Main Street, has many colorful buildings in the typical Far West architecture, the mountains in the background. Take the time to walk and push the doors of the many establishments that play elbow on almost 600 meters. You would discover small pieces of history and immerse yourself in the local culture. The first stopover at King Saddlery, the region's cowboys, then takes a drink in the historic Mint Bar by detailing the 30 stuffed heads facing the counter. If you don't have to spend the night, go to the Sheridan Inn, a beautiful hotel, condominium at the time of its illustrious Buffalo Bill. For more gastronomic options, come back downtown, cafes, restaurants and steak houses are not what is missing here.
