Cooked outdoors over a wood fire, the grilled meats are enjoyed in this exquisite log house in the middle of the desert, in front of the folk and rock bands who come to perform in their cowboy boots and miniskorts, craft beer in hand. It was here, in Pioneertown, that many westerns were filmed in the 1950s; this restaurant was then just a movie set. Today, Pappy & Harriet's has a charm straight out of an American road-trip movie.
