OOSTERSCHELDEMUSEUM

It is only logical that the town of Yerseke has a museum dedicated to what has made it famous in the Netherlands and beyond for decades. The museum is dedicated to mussel and oyster farming in a historical setting. The museum presents 1,600 objects related to this fishing village and its activities. The museum also presents the villages that were flooded in the Middle Ages. What is interesting is to discover this historical world and to see how it was able to adapt to meet modern challenges.
