Perched on a rocky spur, this castle offers a sublime view over the Zemplén plain. Built after the Mongol invasion, it has been restored in a picturesque neo-Gothic style. It houses a unique exhibition of lead soldiers depicting historical scenes, a rarity in Central Europe. Shows in period costume, medieval battles and historical animations are offered according to a seasonal calendar. Small weapons museum and medieval tavern.
