CARRER DEL CENTRE

This emblematic paved alley of the old town, central as its name indicates, presents a superb succession of Gothic arches with picturesque charm. The window located on the house at the entrance of the arcades dates from the 13th century. The construction of these systems of arcades allowed the different houses to communicate with each other, in order to facilitate the escape of the inhabitants during external attacks. This system was later abandoned because it favored the propagation of fires. You will find it easily: it is in the center of the city.
